  • Cornelia Elbrecht

    Founder & Director

    Cornelia Elbrecht

    BA. MA. (Art Ed), AThR; IEATA; SEP. Cornelia is the Founder and Director of the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy and School for Initiatic Art Therapy. She has over 40 years of experience as an art therapist and has been conducting professional certified training in Initiatic Art Therapy, Work at the Clayfield and Guided Drawing for nearly two decades. She has studied at the School of Therapy in Germany, is trained in Jungian and Gestalt therapy, Bioenergetics, Shiatsu and Naturopathy. More recently Cornelia has completed her trauma therapy training with the Somatic Experiencing Training Institute (SETI). She has published three books on Sensorimotor Art Therapy. Cornelia works in private practice and conducts training throughout Australia, Internationally and online.
  • Liz  Antcliff

    Senior Instructor

    Liz Antcliff

    BA (Psych) MA (Couns) Diploma Sensorimotor Art Therapy. In addition to private practice and running training courses through ISAT, Liz is currently a PhD graduate researcher with the University of Melbourne's Creative Arts Therapy Research Unit and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Her PhD research investigates what haptic perception offers to creative arts therapy specifically through Clay Field Therapy. Liz has more than 30 years of experience in human services including various management roles within the private and community health and social services sector, staff development and education as well as extensive experience in clinical settings as nurse practitioner. Liz holds professional membership with ANZACATA; IEATA and the ACA.

    Chris Storm

    MA.Ed (Experiential Learning & Development), BA (Sociology) In addition to teaching Guided Drawing, Chris specializes in Work at the Clay Field and in private practice utilizes Sensorimotor Art Therapy techniques to support children, women, men and families. She has completed her training as a trauma therapist with the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SETI). Areas of specialty include sexual assault, addiction issues, family violence, grief and loss. She is a registered supervisor with ANZACATA and ACA for professional/clinical supervision.
